What this scanning service applies to
The heading for this scanning service is a little limited. With this scanning service, we will scan any negative transparency in strips that are up to about 3cm wide. That size applies to: 35mm; APS; 35mm half-frame; 126; 110 negatives. If you're not sure what you've got, take a look at our handy guide to negative sizes.
We prefer it if you send your negatives to us in strips of four to six exposures. But, if your negatives are chopped into individual exposures, individually mounted, or still as one, long film, we can scan those as well. Please note that if you do send whole films to us, we will have to trim these into strips of four or six before scanning them. Don't worry, we'll be careful!
Each film you send us will be scanned into it's own folder on to disc. If you've been pretty organised with how you've kept your 35mm negatives - by labelling each film sleeve, for example - we'll title each of these folders accordingly.
If there's important information, such as dates and locations, that you know is relevant to each negative, why not ask us to keep this for you by using our scan labelling service? Otherwise, we will just scan the transparencies themselves and that information might be lost.
